Sounds like it may be an issue of the browser storing the old page and not automatically refreshing. The way I do the site, the first page always has the same name and always has the latest 'toon. I did this based on the theory that folks who want to see the latest 'toon can always just go to THAT page. I can see where that could cause a little trouble with some browsers, though, that store the page graphics.
I'm working with a web designer on a complete site re-do. We've got the design settled. What remains is for him to write the program to make it happen. It'll be frames based, using mySQL and PHP. I'm not sure when we'll get the thing up and running, though, because he's pretty well swamped with work at the moment. Anyway, that should take care of the problem. In the meanwhile, as nruddock suggested, doing a page refresh might bring in the updated graphic.
