If your selecting File | Export | Wavefront OBJ and not getting an OBJ file, then something (probably the export plugin) is corrupted.

Unfortunately, if this is the case, then the only cure is an uninstall, clean up and, reinstall of Poser.
(You can save your main Runtime, and copy back just added content)
