I am sorry you feel that way...and too, everyone is entitled to their own opinion and ways of shopping. I too am a shopper at all the sites we visit and I love to download, BUT my business manager has studied the situation thoroughly and it is NOT a viable way to go for many serious reasons, not one of which is the "charge backs" that download sites incur. I will not "argue" this, but I will say our customers are loyal, our sales are great and our perfectly reasonable "buy $30 worth for free shipping world wide" works very well. The value of the product, and our amazing fast delivery has kept us in business 6 years now. Acquiring the rights to the products we have been selling is only another boost as we can now control the price of those models as well.
Rest assured that your feelings do not go unheard, though, as we ALWAYS are looking for possible download parameters that will meet our requirements. We can only keep our product prices ridiculously low by doing things the way we DO do them. As you see DAZ even dropped prices to meet the needs of our economy. It is a real concern.
I know too, that for myself if there is something I REALLY need and want, in an on line store, and it has to be shipped, I will do so with no hesitation. Our community is probably the rare exception in "mail order" or on line shopping that caters to the human desire for "instant gratification". I know... I have GIGS of model purchases that I have not even USED yet and fear I never will... Anyway...that is beside the point.
