Intelligent Design?  Poser?  I was thinking more along the lines of Creationism.  ;0)

It is possible that there is a mismanagement in rendering memory.  Maybe their approach is to preallocate all the necessary memory in order to expediate render and it isn't working as envisioned. ?

From my experience, it is bad to treat memory errors in a monolithic form - it only leads to inflexibility or crashes.  On the other hand, this smacks of not correctly evaluating dependencies - one missed item is not checked for validity and the entire process collapses.

C makes it easy to shoot yourself in the foot. C++ makes it harder, but when you do, you blow your whole leg off.
