IBL lighting by itself is far too ambient. It brings out a lot of details, but it makes everything look flat. Try lowering the intensity of the IBL (which does not have any specular capabilities BTW), and add a spotlight for shadows and specularity.This is a straight P6 Firefly render. No postwork, using one IBL low intensity light ( with a peach and warm yellow radial gradient style image used as the source image, and a lilac colored spotlight:
If I can get these results without postwork, so can you. It just takes some practice.
