No, but seriously, if u find a little time, try and see if you can get some free lance commercial stuff done maybe? Even simple things such as 3d logo's will make people happy. You spend a few minutes converting their illustrator file to a grayscale heightmap, slap it onto a lattice, place it in a scene, fiddle a little with light and shading if neccesary. let it rotate or whatever and voilá instant money making  Surely u can render stuff like that.

Should help get u closer to that carrara 5 pricetag i think... right?
