It also may explain why shoes which rise up only to the ankles have shin and thigh body parts. Nonetheless, conforming clothing leaves a lot to be desired, as it rarely changes to match the morphs and alterations I make to the character.

The clothing has to have the corresponding morphs as the character for it to match. If you dial up a muscular morph and the clothing doesn't have that muscular morph then there is no way for it match the character. If the clothing doesn't have the morph you need you can use magnets to adjust the clothing.
