No - as long as the items were in a mapped directory (a folder you had selected as a Poser or DAZ|Studio content directory) then the requirement is only that the geometry and texture files be in the same relative loaction in a folder the other user has set up as a Poser (for textures) or DAZ|Studio content directory - just as with a Poser Runtime. You should of course distribute only textures or objects you have made, or which permit redistribution - for other items the recipient must own them, and must save them to a .daz scene file to create the geometry files if needed.
