Applications will have to be specifically re-built to take advantage of the PhysX hardware. This will probably entail:

1. Development tool companies coming out with compilers that support PhysX and
2. Software companies (like eFrontier) upgrading their development software to the new versions, then re-compiling and probably tweaking their applications to take advantage of new technology.

It'll be a while before we see #1, and it's still an IF not a WHEN at this point. #2 is even further down the road - if it all. Poser still doesn't support multiple processors, a capability that's been fairly commonplace for at least 6 years.
