There are several free European ones here:

 http://dmi.chez-alice.fr/modelsrescue1.html  They are in LightWave .lwo format which you can convert to .obj using PoseRay (http://mysite.verizon.net/sfg0000/).  You should be able to find a way to convert .obj to .3ds though the former is better for Poser if that's what you're using.
