It does strike me as a trifle odd that people have done non-oriental characters based on Miki, but there are quite a few useful features that other figures don't have, and it's just an inversion of the caucasian to oriental that people do with other figures. Miki also has Wardrobe Wizard support. One downside is that she's a bit more resource-intensive.
