I'm not really sure what you are asking.
For conforming clothing, you apply it to a figure, then go to the tool bar and pick "Figure" and "Conform to" and pick the main figure you want to conform that item to.
You will find that when you pose the figure, sometimes the clothing doesn't co-operate. Poses such as those that have the legs bent are particularly problematic. In such cases, if the clothing has "morphs", you can sometimes fix that using a combination of adjust the morph dials for the areas causing the problem, and hiding particular body parts. If the clothing doesn't have morphs, you can add some using The Tailor, but I personally have only had limited success with that.
I found that with conforming clothing that my poses were pretty much limited to standing, and if the clothing had a 'sit skirt' I could manage a sitting pose. At any rate I found it highly frustrating.
I personally prefer to work with dynamic clothing in the cloth room as the clothing falls more naturally around the figure and takes into account the body's pose, so now I can have my figures sit, stand, lay down, kneel.
