Both apps, (I have them) seem preety stable in their own enviornment.

ADD POSER - bets are off.

* ADD Poser Animation, Carrara can't handle it - VUE ain't much better (but is at least workable).*

You and me must be using different applications. I've imported numerous Poser scenes and Carrara is still rock solid. I've even imported scenes with over 10 figures & microcosm landscapes & trees & a good number of props and it worked great.

Carrara can't handle Poser animation? I've imported a good number of animated Poser models by now and they all worked fine.

My experience with Vue is the other way around, always trouble with animated files and large poser scenes are no go.

Vue5 should address the problem. At that price, I don't expect buggy software, and I certainly don't expect to have to buy a whole new version to get the bugs fixed.

Don't get your hopes up.... A number of Vue 2 bugs, were fixed in Vue 3, but not on Vue 2. A number of Vue 3 bugs, were fixed in Vue 4, but not on Vue 3. A number of Vue 4 bugs, were fixed in Vue 4, but not on Vue 5. E-On has the habit of doing that and I got tired of always being forced to buy the next version of Vue to get annoying bugs fixed.

Artwork and 3DToons items, create the perfect place for you toon and other figures!

Due to the childish TOS changes, I'm not allowed to link to my other products outside of Rendo anymore :(

Food for thought.....
