Too bad your cousin is part owner.  Otherwise I'd plan to move...  Then get some canned food product. Open some outlet covers, vents, any other small crevice...  Leave a nice "parting gift" and then cover it up right before you leave. If done right, it goes unnoticed until the odor begins. (Should be long enough after you're gone, and the maintenance man can deal with the fun.)  Heheh...
