Just a nit from a classical guitar player (if that's what that 2nd row, 2nd left pose seems to be): When playing classical guitar, the left leg is raised about 6-8" either using a foot stand or a pillow (or to whatever device the player is accustomed) and the guitar's 12th fret is usually centered on the body to allow the left hand full range of the fretboard and less strain on both arms.  This link gives some standard sitting guitar playing 'poses'.

C makes it easy to shoot yourself in the foot. C++ makes it harder, but when you do, you blow your whole leg off.
