try a simple experiment:
If you have a scene in the works, save it as a .pz3 then restart your poser 6 to start fresh.
Then
open figures library, and select a human, use single check button to create first figure. Click on Figure > Use Inverse Kinematics and uncheck anything with a checkmark usually this is the legs
find an article of clothing from figures library, something you are sure is a conformer and single click on the thumbnail to select the clothing. You will note that when you do this, the bottom of the column now displays a single AND double checkmark buttons. This is poser realizing you have a figure imported so its giving you option to add to scene or replace figure in scene. Use the double checkmark button to add an additional figure
Make sure clothing is selected, click Figure>Conform To and choose the human
pick a conforming hair from figures library, use double check button Conform hair to figure
goto your Pose library select a pose, make sure you have your human, not clothing or hair selected (Figure 1 Body) then apply the pose to the figure. Your char should pose, and the hair and clothing should pose with the fig.
