I don't use a 3rd party plugin for watercolor. Each image is different when trying to make it look like watercolor. Here is what I do. You will have to play with the settings to get what you want.

  1. Filter > Stylize > Find Edges

  2. Edit > Fade Find Edges .. You can play with the opacity .. 20-25%

  3. Filter > Artistic > Dry Brush set at Brush Size = 0, Brush Detail = 10, Texture = 1 OR Watercolor set at Brush Detail = 14, Shadow Intensity = 0, Texture = 1

  4. Edit > Fade Dry Bush or Watercolor (whichever you chose to whatever opacity looks good)

  5. Filter > Sharpen > Unsharp Mask
