Facially, I quite like Jessi. It's fairly easy to "un-Jessify" her with magnets or external morphs, whereas I find it quite difficult with V3. Her short arms are a drawback though, and the other main drawback is the lask of content (free and for purchase.)
Glam Jessi does a good job of fixing her joint issues.
V3 has her own issues but she has such a huge amount of support in terms of textures, clothing, etc that it's easy to see why she is preferred. From meandering through the galleries, I'd say 75% of the female figures used are V3, with 24% of the remainder being made up of Aiko, Steph and Miki. Jessi's 1%... if that.
So the snowball just keeps on rolling downhill and we get more clothing, more textures, more hair... because after all, that's what sells... and it sells because people use V3 because there's no content for the other figures... so people make more of it... Well, you get the picture.
