Here's a sample of how well these samples perform in actual renders...

By the very nature of what a seamless tile is all about, we all know that there are going to be repetitions in the texture — simply because it does tile. My solution is very simple... sample them big so that when they repeat they won't do so obviously... and also control the sample so that inherent repetitive elements are controlled.
