Having witnessed the 'new-look' PHP galleries, and, after much cursing, thrashing around, and general throwing of furniture, I've come to compile this short list of trifling concerns:
When I click a gallery thumbnail image I expect to be taken to a page showing the image in FULL, opposed to yet another reduced eye-squinting offering! It's also the most pointless of implementations as the 'zoomed out' image that you see load is no quicker than loading the image in full, since when you click this smaller image it immediately opens the full image already completely loaded. Further still, the full image shown in the separate pop-up window is smaller than the image it contains, and thus requires yet more stuffing around to resize the window. Please, please, please do away with this most antagonising of new features! - if -only- this feature - as it only serves to frustrate, and completely ruins the whole gallery-viewing experience.
When viewing an image on it's own page, the image title should ideally be centered above it (as per old forum.)
The artist's caption for their image should not appear in a separate box below, but instead sit directly underneath and within the same space as the image, so as to better associate the caption with the artwork, and also to avoid it looking like one of the feedback comments. (again, as per old forum.)
I'm not too fussed about 2 and 3, but concern number 1 is just unacceptable.
