You would think that people paid exorbitant amounts of money to be here.  Last time I checked I didn't pay anything to display my art here and as a free site I think it is rude as hell for anybody to whine about anything that Renderosity does with THEIR galleries.

If they start charging money then I can see you having the right to say something. But, so long as the galleries are free, then I think everyone should say thank you and be patient while Renderosity works out the kinks in what is essentially a gift to you!

Perfectly reasonable position to hold...if it works for you, go for it. Just understand that there may be other opinions that are just as reasonable. E.g., for starters...

• many of the people who post in the gallery also shop in the store here, thus supporting the costs to run the parts of the site that don't generate money directly (though many people will tell you that they often buy things in the store directly as a result of seeing them used in the galleries)...

• some people may feel that they've entrusted their artwork to the site and are upset by the fact that it's being distorted (ruined in some cases) by the "resizing" that occurs now with these changes to the galleries...and paid for or not is irrelevent...

just two potential "reasonable" examples, IMHO...I'm sure there are more.
