Ok, yeah, I did say something before.  Hence, "I told you so". 

I think we would have noticed the "zoom in" button and raised the question of image resizing BEFORE the conversion, been able to discuss it rationally, and saved us all a lot of bad feelings.

Please consider this kind of thing the next time you're updating a major component of the site.
