Quote - Select "Windows Picture and Fax Viewer", and put a tick in "Always use this program when opening files of this type."

I think that's what I  had on my laptop which had Windows XP.  But I'm using another computer that has Windows 2000, and I don't seem to have anything called "Windows Picture and Fax Viewer".  I wish I did have that, because it was so much better than having to click and click to see an image.
