Actually, that is what is happening. There are a couple of posts that are pure negativism, but many of us really want to help make the galleries (forums, marketplace, whatever) better.
The problem is that most of the suggestions are ignored. I still cannot see why some universally supported requests are not implemented, while other features - that we do NOT want - are diligently worked upon. Case in point: the automatic resizing of images.
The pen is mightier than the sword. But if you literally want to have some impact, use a typewriter
