Don't get me wrong..I really like the idea...The feathers with color is an excellent choice..

Try some different fonts..

It was just my opinion..Please don't base ANYTHING on what i think !!!

This is a nice start. I wonder when they will have the next contest for the main banner and site logos.
Do not give up on this work, as the feathers and design is very good. I do agree the font is something Renderosity would not consider, because they have a trademark font already. This one is already a copyright  font .
One thing  to remember is for banners on the site, if they are too big in height then members have to scroll far more than they like to see the threads.
I think 80 pixels high is plenty.
Well i like making banners too.It is a lot of fun.
Thank you

Valou! Much better, its not really a better , but much catchy . I like a sharpened feather and a look of that filter effect on it. Glad You keep a coloured feather tips. No5 banner is very good, I love the font and a line running horizontal and vertical on them. I am not sure about a No6 , reminds me of a snake, but a hand with pencil is good idea with a globe . I find a font color on some of a design kinda blend to much in a background.Like No5 , "art" kinda get lost in the beige part of a feather. I would like to see it a bit highlighted, stand aut a bit.

Sorry if I was very harsh, but all together I really like No5.
