Sniff* Sniff*  Must be Utah. I think the fires in Arizona were in the Verde Valley area or  near Sodona . . . pretty far South to be picked up in Colorado???

Selling the house yourself is hopefully better than having it sold by a creditor.  Apartment living - all I can tell you is I hate it ! Near the end of Irwin Rommel's career he said that He was no longer in a position to control events but rather that they controlled him. Thats the only way I can describe the difference between living in your own house and existing in a rented apartment. You will survive it; like we all 'survived' the Reagan years not for the better economically but still here. Edgar Rice Burrough's character John Carter was fond of saying "I still live"( ... and thus all things are still possible.)
Perhaps something better will turn up in the future.
