Hi Folks! Hanky's self-incriminating statement reflects an ethical blind spot that has become pervasive in modern society, and (sadly), particularly among young people. It is the philosophy that "nothing is wrong until someone gets angry or I get caught--and if I say I'm sorry, then everything is allright." As a teacher, I see it a lot. My fear is that as a response, the penalties for even minor illegal activity will gradually become more repressive. Peter (Dr Zik)
