Hi sd012q,
I'm going to assume you want to know how to paint skin in Photoshop. If you are just talking about postworking Poser renders in Photoshop then there are many good tutorials on this site - under Poser and Photoshop.
Here are some websites for Photoshop that you will hopefully find interesting:
www.digitalartform.com/archives/2005/04/painting_with_p.html
www.furiae.com/index.php?view=gallery
www.wade.pwp.blueyonder.co.uk/tutorial1.htm
www.rasterized.org/PS-Basics/PS_intro.htm
Right, just read through this post. Here, I think, is what you are trying to do.
Render your Poser image. Make sure that you have no background.
Save your image as a TIF or PSD. If you are using Photoshop you might as well save it as a .PSD.
Open the image in Photoshop.
On the channels tab, its next to the layers tab, section you will notice that you now have an alpha channel. Click this and you will see that the image becomes black and white, makng it easy to pick up your wand tool and simply make your selection.
When you go to your layers section you will now see that you have selected the figure only.
Let me know if that does it for you.
Hope they will be of some help.
