There are so many decent cards out there now that are great values.

Depends on what you're willing to invest. Here's a link to buy.com, great deals here.
ATI, NVIDIA, etc. Investigate the capabilities of each card & the prices in your range.
It's really worth the extra time to read all the specs.

I'm sure you'll get a variety of opinions here, for me......ATI cards have always been real solid performers when it comes to graphics, I'm not into power gaming.

Also try googling Video card reviews, that'll give you loads of great insight.
