I had a recent rent increase, as well, and the same sort of thing happened to my building.  Sunday, my next doors fought from 7 in the morning until 4 pm when i finally blew up.  This is a constant with them, at least 3 days a week.  Fortunately, I'm mostly not home when it happens.

I'm installing an alarm on the wall that I share with them, this weekend.  Next time they crash into my walls they will get a nasty surprise.....and, i think i'll just leave it going, and leave the house.

If that doesn't work.  I WILL call the police.  I just want these people either quiet, or, more preferably, GONE.  Domestic violence is a crime, and, hopefully, the cops will drag at least one of them away.

I live is South Florida.  There is no way I can go through the aftermath of a hurricane with these people.  They need to be gone before we get one this year.
