I know what you mean about conforming clothing. It's hard to fit the figure if you change their body shape, not to mention pretty impossible to fit the clothing around a figure that is posed in any way other than straight up standing.
You have a few options open to you.

3. The tailor

- This program adds body morphs to clothing. You still have to turn dials and make things fit, but it allows you to put "body parts" into clothing so you can adjust just those areas.
It is an external program that you take the clothing into, add the morphs from a drop down list, save the clothing and then open poser and use the newly saved clothing item.
I tried it and only had limited success with it. It didn't help me at all with problems of how to fit clothing to a figure that wasn't practically standing in a vertical position with both legs straight beneath them.
