Maybe this is just me. But none of the models are suppose to be the ultimate model. I mean, Universal. The version 3 of the millenium figures do seem to come closest with thier versitility and morphablility but they all have a distinct "personality" and that causes limit to facial individuality. You can always tell a millenium face. but they do make a variety of figures for image work. I still use P4 figures once in a while (not P3 so much) and even if the project requires ... P2 and P1. I'm just glad we have such a nice veriety. Dina I really like ... and with conforming clothes her wardrobe is expandable. Eve ... not much use lately. I've done some things with Judy that I didn't think I could do (See sample I made for this thread) ... she was trashed like crazy in the beginning ... Jessi, I'm having fun with. Kate ... I like having an older child in my cast of characters. I still use V1, V2, M1 and M2 according to the image needs. I really like James for his unique face. I also really like the new hand and feet morphs in P6 figures. So they all have thier pluses and minuses ... but few if any are set to go "out of the box". I've not mentioned the Manga characters because I only use those for specific projects as I'm not as involved with Manga work, although I'm totally open to it. We all have unique needs and feelings about the different models. We use these models very intimately. posing, morphing etc. as if they are an extension of ourselves. It makes us passionate about our oppinions on them. We are all as individual as the way we use the models. Okay, that's my tome on the topic. Trash it if you like.
