I like to get hits, but I don't care one way or the other. I make my art for my own sake. (When my computer is actually functioning, that is.)

Why do people get so concerned? If you don't get hits, then people may just not be interested in your work. Big deal. I don't care if someone likes what I do. I like what I like. You say tomato, I say, well, I guess it all types the same anyway, so bad example.

Seriously though, here is a good tip to get hits. Hit [i]other people's[/i] images. Make comments on other's hard work. You would be surprised how many people who you comment for appreciate it enough to go view your work.

Breast images may get you hits from people casually visitiing the gallery, but are those the people you actually want to attract? My opinion is that I want people who care about art to check out mine. Like ernyoka stated, I would rather 10 hits with 8 constructive comments, than 1200 hits, with no commentary.
