Well, cloud texture takes a while, I finally settled for the simple white with some texture changes for the body. Much thanks to Mazilla for her idea to angle and turn the left wing around and her texture changes to the .mat. Moving on, hope you all like it and I hope it doesn't look like a bird any more.

Hey Eric, how did you get the flare in the star??? any info appreciated.. thanks...

Yes, I finished the message without putting the first part... The horse looks great, it has a wonderful ethereal quality that makes it look otherworldly... And cloud textures are tough, and you did a great job with that too...

Tradivoro, the flare is done ~~~~ work in Photoshop with Axion's lens flare filter. Version 2.0 is freeware on their site now. It has bugs but they can be worked around. I like 2,0 better than the new one. Glad you liked it. Took a while to get things right (much thanks to Mazilla). Maz, the horse texture was just the Bryce simple white with some ambiance and transparency. Didn't need to touch the eyes. the only ~~~~ work I had to do was the star flare and getting rid of the back feet. Took all of 2 minutes.

SPG has SPG WEB Pro tools which has a great flare renderer in it. Does more than just lens flares. It is a plugin for Photoshop and Paint Shop Pro. I use it in PSP. I used it in this image to make the 'fire'.

Hey that's pretty good... I gotta look into that... But isn't kinda nasty giving an angel a hot foot?? :) Just kidding...
