Sorry you guys and gal...a little late on this but I was looking for an image that I thought was 'lost' for good, and here its is now. Daffy34 - First I like to thank Laurie for her compliment that my bass texture is the best..well it seem to be :) but hear what I have to say later. Yes Laurie, it is almost coming to two years and even before the new Zygote bass was out. "If you want to post some of your creations to share with the rest of us poor inept folks, I'll be glad to host them on my site." :)...hee! hee!...you gonna regret this and ask me to stop....LOL! Well, basically I am not a modeller at all....yes, zero and flat to the ground that I'm not but I do have some model of my own made with Xfrog like water plants in various movement, mushroom (button), spaceship and some sort of futuristic structure. The problem is that the file is huge and prunning it thru Xfrog tune does not do justy to the quality of the mesh surface. Converting them to obj is a bigger jump and having to reconvert it to vob is just as bad. I will contact you off list on this...as I will probably have them in 3ds and some vob. About the bass texture...actually this appeared a long long time ago in the first PFO and was image of the week/month? Down the line, I was contacted by Zygote to have it brokerage. I am sort of comitted to it but it did not take of yet but soon to be. The reason being that the texture you see is not accurate but would do just by. My decision was not just to have that texture alone for sale as I feel that the pricing would not worth the while for either party. What I had in mind (this was quite a long time along) was to have textures for various type of fresh water bass and along with some for the angel and butterfly fish and have a price that worth all the stuff instead of just that texture. I was doing progressively ok till I lost some of the work in a 3 hard disk crash at one go. Other cause of delay was the bass geometry and its anatomical differences to provide various accurate texturing. Here, I'm talking about shifting the eyes postion, the end of its maxilla and the mid body height of the Zygote bass which is not possible, in providing an accurate model for specific species. When Zygote came up with the new improve bass, it did not help much except for the improvement to mouth opening, additional maxila movement link and gill covers open to expose glimsp of red gills. Anyway, I do not want to keep this post too long, but just to let you people here know that I am working on it. All the texture are accurate in reference to real life species. ONE INTERESTING QUESTION FOR YOU ALL BASS ENTHUSIAST HERE...what type of bass do you all think the DAZ3d bass is ? Big mouth, Snall mouth, Stripe etc... Fox-M - LOL!...com'on, I am not iding that bass, I'm breeding it :) Seriously, I am working on it as a very accurate texture not just fish scale as you see in the image attached. These are some of my beta works in progress from a long time ago. Don't get excited about them, they are my rejects. The seam of the bass where the half meet is also giving problem. I may want to ask someone to remodel one that can accurately morph to the various species. Bill
