Basically, the only reason I now run windows is Poser, and I begrudge Microsoft their continuing upgrades to operating systems, let alone all the security holes and the fact that my new laptop only came with a recover disk so I am more than nervous about re-formatting and re-installing the whole XP OS from scratch.

Is WINE the only windows emulator in town?

Meantime, I'll try and get in touch with Curious Labs and see if they know how to make WINE run Poser.
