Interesting "Simon"...Kort your building looks to me a research centre, Valou... I like yours may I ask what building You find it on? Looks to me an arrow slit. ( very medievalish, I have simmilar in my collection )

My building is ...welll it is suppouse to represent a "black swan"  Western Australia's coat of arm animal. Don't ask me, I have not find a swan yet in there....but never know! My hubby said " Only one person figure it out this design or way tooooo many"
