Subject: Technical question -- co-aligning light and camera

You can parent the light to the camera.

  1. Set up the scene with the camera and lights as required.
  2. Select a light and in its properties set it to be a spotlight. This will now allow you to use the "Parent" button. Parent it to the required camera.
  3. Set the light back to the original type. It will still be parented to the camera.
  4. Repeat for all lights.

I have my default lights parented to the main camera. In this way as I'm working on a figure I can look all round it without worrying about loosing detail in the shadows. I have other presets for the head and hands.

The Poser Tool Box has a tool to remove all the lights in a scene.
