Cinema4D uses two sky objects for a full GI solution. One with a blurred HDRI for the lighting and one with a crisp LDRI (or non-blurred HDRI) for the visible/reflections. Makes sense to me.

Pass no temptation lightly by, for one never knows when it may pass again!
