I'm back and thanks for all your opinions. Not sure about the memory thing though.  My puter says it doesn't like Firefly much more often than P4. Really appreciate the  Firefly render setting ideas, maybe the default setting I've been using are my problem. Thanks for your link richardson and your advise Realmling and your pictures raven.
