cobraEye, do you do any modeling? If not, i suggest you give ity a try to get a feel for the amount of work that goes into making models.

When I got into building models, I pretty much stopped complaining about the prices people charge.

Personally I think Pam's models are resonably priced for the amount of work that goes into them.
