It is no different than using a pen - which is a little weird at first. This thing is 100% presure sensative. Your line drawings come out exactly like they would on paper. The pen tracks the cursor around the screen so if you draw small then you're fine. If you hold the pen slightly over the tablet it will move the cursor around the screen, press down on the tablet to make a line or mark - I'm not sure if the "size" factor is such a big deal. 6 x 8 is like drawing on a small sheet of paper which is what I usually do anyway so it's fine. I got my tablet retail, so I did hurt a bit. The bigger sizes where just crazy, crazy money. But I use it EVERYDAY! There seems to be NO downside (other than the slight delay problem on slower machines).
