One thing I would like to suggest is that you clearly lay out the terms of the contest, what exactly will be judged, and have both work from the same reference photos (And only those reference photos), because it's perfectly possible that one of you will come out with a crappier version of the flying dutchman while at the same time having a better scene. Therefore I suggest a second render only of the flying dutchman, preferably without textures.

All that said, Dan's gonna smoke some Bryster behind.
