I'm all for editing, but in a lot of those examples, the things that I like most about them is retouched... I just love skin textures, wrinkles, arteries, body lines... what's wrong with that? The retouched images seem like plastic, silicone, velvet... not skin. For me, that's just an example of how NOT to do it... maybe that's what Jimbo's saying (or trying to, LOL).
