This 3ds mesh by Jorg Gerlach either didn't come with textures or they wouldn't apply in ancient Bryce (or something similarly not very useful), so I added details by booleaning. All the panel lines, text and other markings are booleans. You cut them out with boolean negatives and then fill the gaps with different-coloured boolean intersections.
I like how I went and added a line all the way down the middle, despite having misspent too many hours of my youth filling in such gaps on plastic model kits (too much filler + impatience = melted model).
