contentparadise.com is where I've been trying to download it. I got the headsup from cgchannel.com, or cgsociety.org, one of those. I thought that if a site that recognized in the industry had the ad, then it was most likely legit. Content paradise said it was a limited time offer, and was being extended, although sorry to say if it is legit it's too late to get it now (it's 19.99 now :P). For the first couple days the site was really slow and kept saying their bandwidth was reached, try back later. I finally got to download something a day or so later, but it only downloaded a 6 meg installer of some sort.
Nevermind, it's not legit. I just tried the link from my email invoice, and got 404 error >: They actually stated because of the high downloading, the free poser would be available permanently in your account. Well, at least they didn't get any important information from me. I didn't run the 6 meg download they gave me, obviously not Poser 5 (I might try it on a machine I don't care about just for kicks).
I looked for the link cgchannel, or cgsociety had for the free Poser 5 but couldn't find it. What a surprise! I have to say that if this wasn't legit, then cgchannel or cgsociety - whichever it was - really blundered thinking it was legit!
I'll spend a little more time researching it, but I'm sure it isn't legit.
