Subject: "Homepage" issues - Double names-choices?

Yup, but the member ID is a numeric data type while the member name is a string. Oh sorry, it's PHP, it can't distinguish between data types.

Then again, this can be solved by scanning the member name column instead of the member ID column. Hmm, tricky, you'd have to make the links consistent. Why would you abandon the chaotic mixture of user IDs and user names in the programming? It would make this site less unique, since all other sites already have this consistency.

The pen is mightier than the sword. But if you literally want to have some impact, use a typewriter
