I thought that this link looked interesting. Spy cameras that yell at people for bad behavior in the UK.Well....perhaps this sort of thing has been encouraged by incidents like the teenage gang attacks that we've been hearing about going on in the UK -- where the kids randomly assault people on the street. They trash parked cars, hit people, yell at people -- and such like. Or so the occasional news story over here has been saying, anyway.
A couple of years back, I heard a stat which said that a person is six times more likely to get mugged in London than they are in New York City.
If any of this is true, then perhaps some of the public fear can be explained. And thus: things like these cameras, and strict porn laws.
