Try a sphere and play with the transparency value. Make it a hue of about the same color and make the sphere fuzzy. Through in a "point light of may be 250 in value. Put the point close to the frontal inner sphere, facing you. Might and may not work...just off my head. Do change the point light color to compliment it...err..also play with the fade out clear value for the sphere and "fade out color and light color. Good luck. Mannn!!!..first pic...this is very good!
