If you use Bryce or Carrara or some other software to render your figures.

 This is untextured 3ds models that can be imported and used as background or as a part of the action. The red pole is for you to have something to scale the height of the figures. Just delete it when resize is done.

Well, Poser imports 3ds, so it should be possible to use them. I havent tryed it myself but you are welcome to share any resoults with us :)

Yes, you can use them in Poser.  I just tried it.  :-)  Some 3ds models do not import well into Poser, or come in unmapped, but these work very well.  At least with Poser 6 - haven't tried it with other versions.
